LESSONS AND FEES
- There will be an average of 12 lessons per term
- Lessons missed by pupils will not be credited. There will be no credit for leave taken by pupils during a term. In exceptional circumstances carry over credit will be permitted (doctor’s note to be provided in COVID-19 related event).
- Should a lesson be cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of a teacher, they will take all reasonable steps to make it up. ELP cannot guarantee that this will be possible. Lessons not given due to the teacher’s unavailability will not be payable- a refund will be given.
- If you wish to discontinue lessons: a. Written notice must be given to the school’s director (Kat Perdikomati) by half term to take effect from the end of that term. b. The teacher must also be notified. 4 weeks notice is required.
- ELP and its teachers reserve the right to discontinue lessons at any time.
- For new pupils: trial period is 2 sessions. During this period, for any cancellations/to discontinue lessons, please provide 48 hours notice otherwise the lesson will be billable. After the end of the trial period, the above terms and conditions apply for all ELP pupils (terms 1-5 AND 7-14)
- All pupils (new and continuing) are required to pay annual subscription fee of GBP20 upon joining/start of the school year.
- ELP will remain closed during half term breaks, holidays (Christmas, Easter, summer-after July). If you require a lesson during those dates, please contact the director in advance.
- Any late payments of tuition fees (more than 15 days from date due) will be automatically charged 15% interest fees on total due. A new invoice will be issued.
- If you arrive late for your lesson, we are sorry but will be unable to offer you extension of your booked session. Your lesson will end at the pre-agreed time due to the 10mins gap required in between lessons. Please avoid arriving early either, as overlaps of students arriving and departing must be avoided.
- All students/parents agree to abide by our Health and Safety policy and Risk Assessment by signing this document.
- For participation at recitals/performances/public engagements/competitions/graded exams etc, you will need the consent of your tutor. Please do not enter any exams/competitions without discussing with us first.
- This agreement is binding between ELP and the student. It does not form an agreement with the tutor directly. ELP tutors are unavailable for private lessons outside ELP.
- This contract remains valid in perpetuity until a student cancels as per the guidelines stipulated above.
- Our tutors are DBS checked and vetted.
- We are unable to offer discounts for pre-pay or any other form of concessions/special deals.
- Gift vouchers are available, please get in touch to enquire.
